LPC, Clinical Staff
I have my Masters in Clinical Counseling (MS) from Central Methodist University. I am an LPC and NCC. I feel that using solution focused therapy is important to empower clients to recognize their abilities in solving life’s problems and establishing goals, along with problem solving. CBT therapy is important to encourage change in attitudes and behaviors by focusing on thoughts, images, and beliefs that are held and how this relates to the way a person behaves and deals with emotional issues. Narrative therapy can be beneficial by encouraging clients to rely on their own skills to minimize problems that exist in their lives by “being their own expert” through life experience.
My hobbies include reading, traveling, true crime podcasts, tv shows and books. I enjoy spending time with my dogs and family. I’m a native of the St. Louis area but do like the Dallas Cowboys and Cardinals baseball!
