1. What did you most enjoy about working with Kristen?

Where do I even begin. She has helped me through one of the toughest times and has given me so much more perspective on my life.

I like having consistent support that I knew I could trust and relate to.

She is so flexible with scheduling and makes coming to work with her easy.

She is a real human, not stiff like the therapists you see on TV… and she has a dog in the office.

I felt comfortable talking to her. No judgement.

2. What was your most memorable moment? This could be related to growth you experienced or an ah-hah moment.

During one of our intense sessions using eye movements.

Having a release of negative feelings I had been carrying for so long was memorable because I thought it was impossible to feel better.

Figuring out what was really going on with me. Making some serious connections I never considered.

Seeing my child’s behavior change towards me.

Her acceptance of me, I have never had that before.

3. What do you want other people considering counseling to know?

I would recommend Kristen to anyone going through a rough patch or just to cope with everyday life. She’s the best and they won’t regret it at all.

Therapy isn’t what you see on TV or like talking to a buddy. It is work that pays off into your future. You might be uncomfortable sometimes, but it is worth it.

Just give therapy a try. If you are looking for a therapist you probably need one. Give it more than one session.

If you are walking around angry or anxious all the time– you don’t have to! Kristen is great at finding what’s going on.

Even if you feel bad about yourself, open up because that’s when I started to feel better…
