Let’s Talk Money
Counselors are paid according to experience and licensure. We offer our counselors a fair pay rate and in exchange for that, a ton of support. We take time to onboard you, show you how to use our system, meet for consult group as a team and provide individual meetings with leaders and peer therapists at the practice. We are a tight knit bunch. We set you up to be a source of empathy and authority in the community by fully investing in your Google and social media marketing like you won’t find anywhere else. We encourage you to grow and to be more than just a “sit and chat” therapist. We can fill any therapist’s caseload that knows how to retain a client. We do things for our counselors that we don’t have to do because we care. You will be compensated every 2 weeks on the 5th and 20th of the month. We pay on time and never “forget” to pay because we are too busy or get distracted. We are looking for people who are attracted to being outstanding therapists and staying with a group long term.
What its Like to Work in Private Practice
There are many ways to serve the community in this industry. It is important to explore and understand all of your options before committing to one. Greenway Therapy is a private pay, private practice. This means that our clients are paying out of pocket to see a therapist. In some cases these clients can submit an “out of network” claim to their insurance company in order to get coverage for their visits. This depends on their plan and if the counselor they are seeing is fully licensed or not. Also, Greenway Therapy sees a variety of clients. Our largest populations include kids, individuals and couples. The population that comes to Greenway Therapy for services do not need acute care. The caseloads of the therapists at Greenway ebb and flow depending on who is ringing the phone and who the counselor is qualified to counsel. Counselors at Greenway stay within their wheelhouse of counseling abilities and the clientele the employees see at Greenway is largely determined by the need of the community at any given time. This means that at some points, for example, a counselor that sees couples may have a caseload heavy on the couples side of service and then six months later their caseload may shift to more individuals and at other times there will be more of a mix of clientele. Greenway employees like this because it creates variety thus mitigating burnout.

We are a paperless practice and use cloud based systems for documentation.
We provide a insurance health insurance stipend for full time employees after a period of time.
What You Will NOT Like About Greenway Therapy
We think it is good practice to tell people what they will not like right off the bat.
We are here to help. As a GP doctor working at a clinic can not suddenly decide not to see people with sinus infections, counselors working at Greenway must be willing to work with clientele they are qualified to work with in the ratio at which these clients are setting appointments. This means if there is an influx of clients presenting with anxiety, a counselor that has the ability to treat anxiety will be receiving clients with anxiety proportionate to the need brought to the practice.
1-We have high expectations. We want all of the therapists at Greenway to be excellent and that means observations, education and growth! If you do not feel confident, we are okay with that and we’ve all been there, but we do expect communication from staff so we know when help is needed along the way.
2- You can not cancel on your clients because you do not feel like seeing them that day.
3- You must comply with office policies. Policies are created to keep order.
4- You must keep precise documentation and submit notes within 48 hours.
5- We are a heavily brain based and attachment based practice. We use many modalities but our roots are in human development. Clinicians who rely on CBT will have a difficult time fitting in.
6- We do not and will never take insurance.
