Nadia Raza
PLPC, Clinical Staff
I believe that all our experiences tell us a story about ourselves. Throughout our sessions together, I take a person-centered approach where I provide an open and compassionate space for all. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process, so I hope to involve individuals in their goals and personal growth. Sharing your feelings and emotions can feel overwhelming, but we will work together to alleviate those anxieties. My hope is that I can cultivate a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings without any judgment. Also, I hope that I can provide you with the tools to overcome life difficulties with greater ease and self-awareness.
I specialize in brain-based approaches such as CBT by problem-solving negative thought processes to help create adaptive ways of thinking. In addition, I support people who are experiencing symptoms of chronic stress and trauma by utilizing bottom-up approaches like EMDR and somatic work.
Some facts about me are that I enjoy meeting clients from all walks of life, and I like to celebrate growth, regardless of whether they are big or small wins!
